Truseal Kean
BELKNAP, Ill. -- Truseal Kean, 91, died at 8:50 a.m. June 19, 2005, at the home of her daughter, Susan Hobbs, in Paducah, Ky.
Daughter of the late Arthur and Ida Worman Hathaway, she was retired from the Anna State Hospital in Anna and was a member of the Belknap United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Johnson County Homemakers.
Her husband, Wayne Kean, preceded her in death.
Three sisters and four brothers also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Russell Hobbs of Paducah; one son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Tammy Kean of Sikeston, Mo.; one brother, John Hathaway of Des Moines, Iowa; and nine grandchildren, Tommy Kean, Rebecca and Billy Yearsin, Tim and Jessica Hobbs, Bethany Hobbs, Jared Kean, Hannah Kean, Dale Kean, Faith Haney and Hunter Kean; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today at the Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Steve Heisner will officiate.
Burial will follow in the West Eden Cemetery at Cypress.
